Rumble Pit

Levels:  7-8.5ft
Location: Storm Channel, River Right, below Storm hole, just above the lower break
Getting There: From the Main Channel, paddle through the lower break, and up to the hole.  From Storm, head downstream, staying right
Eddy service: Fair- it's a workout, and you have to attain up through the trees.
Skill Level: Expert
Description:  This is a BIG hole.  When Storm washes out, Rumble Pit starts coming in.  At lower levels, a large pourover forms, but with more water, it gets slightly friendlier, though many people still avoid it (a swim here could easily result in a lost boat).  It's easiest to stay in control on the surfer's left shoulder, blunting right and venturing into the foampile for ends and loops.  It's a lot of fun, but also a major workout.
