Powerline (AKA "Shockwave")

Quality:
Levels: 7.5ft+
Location: Off of the left-most rock on river right below the put-in, under the powerlines.
Getting There:  Paddle downstream from the put-in, keeping left of the group of rocks
Eddy service:  good
Skill Level:  Intermediate at normal levels, Expert at high levels
Description:  Powerline exists pretty much at any level, and makes a convient warm-up before heading to other playspots.  At low water (~6 ft) it forms a small hole that can give up 3 ends or so before it kicks you out.  At higher levels, it turns into a very nice wave with a small, surging foampile, and keeps getting better until the eddy washes out.  Catch it on the fly if you can, and if you dare. As the river rises, the wave keeps getting bigger. At levels over about 200,000cfs, the wave is massive, and is known as "Shockwave"
