Playspot II
Quality:

Levels:
7.5-9.5ft, 10ft+
Location: Big rock island
river right of main channel, opposite from Playspot
Getting There: From Powerline, head downstream, keeping
generally to the river right.
Eddy service: Moderate - Good
Skill Level Intermediate to Advanced. The waves are forgiving, but a swim here could be long.
Description: There are
three things worth mentioning here. On the river right side
of the island are two waves very similar to Playspot
that come in at higher water than playspot. On the river left
side is a steep wave
that's good for spins and blunts, which comes in at about
10ft. Third is Wunderland, the little white ripple
directly upstream of Playspot 2. Stephen Wright says "Whenever
Powerline Wave is high or washing out, Wunderland is one of the best
plastic boat downtime spots around. It forms it's own eddy, which can
hold 4 or 5 boaters at a time without a problem." The best seam is the river-leftmost eddy line, where it's possible to get a 5 second+ mystery move in a playboat.
