Big Timber POV
Sometime around the turn of the century, photos, videos, and reports of an epic creek begin floating out of Montana's Crazy Mountains. I first ran Big Timber in 2002 on an epic trip with Gordon Dalton, Josh Sandage, and Harris Haynie, and it immediately earned a place on my list of favorite creeks and places to go back to. After freestyle team trials this year in Missoula, I finally got the chance to head back there with Clay Wright and Shane Groves. We had a long, great day on the river, and I shot a lot of head cam footage. Hope you like it, and I promise as soon as things settle down for me, I'll write up an update for the summer's travels.
Life on the road has been busy, packed full of paddling. I'll get around to doing a full update sometime soon, but in the mean time, enjoy this video from the Glenwood wave from a couple weeks ago.... It's taken this long to find somewhere to sit long enough to upload it.
March was a busy month for me- lots of good paddling to choose from. I got to spend some quality play time getting the Molan dailed in. What can I say other than the boat rips? I've figured out more paddling the boat for the past month than in the previous two years combined. The 2010 Burn has been treating me well too. Enjoy the video.
