HI Jeremy, Congrats on the Bronze! That is really fantastic! Your mom let me and the rest of the church know about it. Boy is she proud! and so is everyone else! Looking forward to watching the video. If you have time to send me e-mails at church so I can put stuff in our newsletter, I've given you my church email address. Have fun! Deb HOltzinger

We met one of the guys from the Holtwood/Hurricane run at a bar in Lancaster yesterday and he recommended this site. We couldn't watch the video clip cause our work computers don't have realpayer, can you put some more vid clips on Window's Media Player? Great site!

Nice site Jeremy. This makes me want to come and boat with you guys. I would like to come up there when it is at a high level. It may take me a long while to make it because it isn't that close and the Smokies are right in my backyard. I love the West Prong. Maybe I'll see you ouy west again. I should be there for atleast FIBARK. Mark Miller

Ok, ok, I'm givin up some love here. The content is what matters, and y'all are bringing the goods. The Upper Seneca vid was the first good clip of that run posted online that I know of(?). And that is very cool because it's a SweeT run and that entire area is bad-azz. I understand you gotta use .rm if thats what's getting it here....keep it comin foshure....

Dekon- I've been using Real Player lately because I can get a much better compression than with Quicktime. You'll notice that many of the shorter clips are Quicktime, but the longer ones are usually Real Player. The only other format that comes close in terms of compression is Windows Media, which I won't really go into the reasons I'd rather not use it. I've also been trying to keep a mix of formats (and in some cases have individual clips in multiple formats) so that if someone can't view (or doesn't like) one format, they aren't totally hosed and can at least get a little of our lovin'. You can still ban me from society if you want

Good site, cool vids. Keep it up. I have one suggestion and that is "anything that has to do with Real Player should be banned from society". Y'all should get rid of those .rm files and make'm Quick Time or something....

Keith gets hammered on the Kitzmiller section of the Potomac. He finally paddled out after a minute or two. No broken helmet, no stitches, no unconsciousness. I guess that was pretty good for Keith. I must say he came out of the hole speaking “Straubonics” again. Big hole…got squinkered(what?)…s**t.

Jerome - site is looking nice. Had to let you in on something huge. Skamakozi has resurrected some recordings from the past and they are now on the internet. http://www.cebwd.com/skamakozi/ The vocals have yet to be mixed into these particular mp3 files - so I thought they might be good for background music. Take a listen, amongst the miserable ska sounds you may find something you like. -fotinos

Who is Lenna anyway. Is that a guy or a girl. The only Lenn(y) I knew was on Laverne and Shirley. And he was pretty lame himself. In any case, my feelings were hurt and I expect an apology. I'm a very sensitive guy, you know.

Why some members of the team might be ugly as hell and/or members of the Tooldom Hall of Fame, they still run some sik shiznit and can throw down with the pros. Congrats to the 717s, 434s and all the rest of the badass boaters on The Team -- the Costa Rican extension of the Team CR fan club sends her love and is running everything she can get her boat on down here so that maybe one day she'll make the list too... I mean, c'mon, I deserve some credit, even if it is just for having the best injuries on any given excursion! Take care guys, have fun and go BIG! love, Blaine

Pretty cool site - but I'd have to agree with the former post - if you want chicks, you're not going to catch them running steep creeks. Hmm... sick-ass, death defying, fun-as-shit runs or hot-chicks and a little nookin'... tough choice boyz. Good luck!

So what's the deal, Jer? I teach you how to kayak, teach you how to climb, teach you how to cave, introduce you to Walt, invite you to boat in Idaho, allowed you to work for me, and gave you the name "pus pus", and I'm not on the team? I suppose I'll get over it. Great looking site. Good Luck

So if I post here and the site breaks down does that count as a "river-related incident?" 2 broken ribs, 4 broken boats, 6 broken helemts, 2 shoulder dislocations, and one heinous swim over sunshine (all witnessed) and counting... Sweet site!

Chasin' Grain? I don't get it. I looked all over the site for Everclear but all I found was canoeing stuff. Where's the alcohol? Grain really is the best booze out there - I'm psyched to finally see a website devoted to good old unadulterated get-the-betties-wasted, no-filler licker. None of that wussy 80 proof soda water here! It's all about the firewater right? Why, back when I was in college at W&L we used to fill up old trash cans with that stuff, throw in some fruit and called it "punch." It had a kick alright! The ladies loved it (and so we did too). We didn't even wash out the trash cans first - the alcohol took care of that. Just dumped in gallons of Everclear from White Sulphur Springs WV, stirred it with a broom handle and BOOM, instant party. Anyway, I still don't get this website, but I guess I'll just keep on Chasin' the Grain. That canoeing shiznit looks pretty sik tho. Cheers, Gordon
